About Aya Anly
Meet the Author
Aya Anly is a Christian writer based in British Columbia, Canada.
Through poems, children's picture books, and fiction, Aya invites you to explore the wonder of human life, wisdom and spiritual curiosity.
She has one goal in her writing;
to soften people's heart to love and to be loved.
Originally from Kyoto, Japan, Aya Anly comes from a family with a rich tradition. While she didn't speak until she was three years old, Aya loved reading and writing. She learned from the tender age of four how powerful the written word can be when her first letter landed her older brother in hot water, followed by a second letter successfully convincing their mother not to punish him.
After attending university, Aya immigrated to Canada. She arrived with a couple of thousand dollars and had it all forfeited the very next day. She eventually established her life through her financial career from ground zero. Her life makes her appear to be a risk-taker, but the reality is that her trusting nature doesn't give her enough warnings. Such comical tragedies, along with a collision and merger between her traditional Eastern upbringing and Christian values, cultivated fertile ground for her writing to blossom.
She loves piano, dancing, hiking, fishing and people.
She is a Sunday school teacher for adorable preschoolers.
