Aya (pronounced Aaya) is her original name that she uttered out of blue when she started talking finally at age three. Despite her parents' significant effort in selecting her first name, she responded only to whoever calls her Aya, instead of her official name.
Aya is not a word or name in her native country, but it remained her name within her family.
She loves piano, dancing, hiking, and people.
She is a Sunday school teacher for adorable preschoolers.
