Aya (pronounced Aaya) is her original name that she uttered out of blue when she started talking finally at age three. Despite her parents' significant effort in selecting her first name, she responded only to whoever calls her Aya instead.
Aya is not a word or name in her native country, but she secretly believes she knows its meaning. After all, she had three years to ponder upon it.
She loves piano, dancing, hiking, and people.
She is a Sunday school teacher for adorable preschoolers.
